Welcome to the Seminar of Personnel Economics and Human Resource Management

Our key research focus is the evaluation of human resource management practices through empirical studies based on company data and behavioural economic experiments. Main topics in research and teaching are incentives and performance appraisals, the analysis of compensation structures and career paths, as well as instruments of human resource management for the implementation of corporate strategies.

Teaching has two main focuses. Students should be provided with both an application-oriented practical knowledge of human resources management instruments and sound scientific methodological knowledge.
